Hi
I remember seeing the pictures of all your renovations when we were there. It was a hugh undertaking. Your list of accomplishments brought the pictures to mind. You both should be very proud of your lovely home. We, your guests, are very fortunate to have such a lovely place to visit.
Happy New Year and the best to you~!

Dear Janet - I'm writing from Swansea (Wales UK - home of Dylan Thomas and Catherine Zeta Jones !) - had a lovely holiday with you last year - why have you not written any blogs lately? I have been logging in, just to recapture the atmosphere (unique!) of being in Cape Cod at hallowe'en time - they make not so much of it in these parts. although - I put pumpkins on my front step this year and they looked wonderful - everyone around here remarked on the display) - BUT.. what I was coming to was ... the wonderful breakfasts we had at The Stone Lion - in particular the morning glory muffins. I haven't tasted the like before or after. Thank you Janet (and Nancy too). I just wish we lived nearerr.)

Lots of love from
some satisfied customers

Hi Janet

Congratulations! I visit your site so often to see if you have left a note to keep us up with what's happening with you and the Inn and also to relive our time with you in your home. We have so many wonderful memories and cannot wait to return one day. You are so right, time does fly by and it is measured differently by people. Some by the material things they have acquired in life and others by the moments that make life what it is....a journey. Not a journey that is planned by us, but one that is set before us with different paths to follow. I always like to believe I have chosen correctly. Though I can imagine that when you started your life journey Innkeeper may not have been in your life plan, but you are both warm and welcoming to everyone who has chosen to stay at the Stone Lion Inn. What a wonderful choice they have made and so have you!

See you soon,
Marie & Angelo

As I am from the midwest and have a preconceived notion that everything in the east is 'close' Once you add in a ferry ride all proximity rules are off! But to have a potential guest call and ask for a recommendation to another property in a specific location seems a bit off. I am sure you were feeling just a tiny bit frustrated while you were holding back the laughs.

I'd love to see that spot, any suggestion on where I could view it?

"I enjoy the rhythm of life here, it is as inevitable and predictable as the tides."

I love this line. I love feeling the rhythm of the year, too--beyond the school year, the fiscal year, etc.
