Our on-site rental cottage, "Ocean's Favorite", is named for the merchant ship captained by the builder of our house. Located on the same property, our cottage guests can walk to galleries, restaurants, Mayo Beach (voted "Most Family Friendly Beach" by Trip Advisor), a well-equipped playground, tennis & basketball courts and a skateboard park. Perfect for families with children, it features three bedrooms, a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. A washer/dryer is provided and there is a clothesline for drying wet beach towels & bathing suits. The outdoor shower attached to the cottage is a Cape Cod tradition; you haven't lived until you've showered under our blue skies.

As is typical of Cape Cod Cottages, this one rents by the week (Saturday to Saturday) and guests are requested to bring their own bed linens and towels. If you are traveling with an infant you should also provide a crib and any other baby necessities you may require.

The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size refrigerator and electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster-oven and blender.  All the pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses and silverware you could need are provided.  The three bedrooms are on the second floor and offer several sleeping options. Two rooms have queen size beds and the third room has a twin bed with a twin trundle to accommodate two guests. Each bedroom has a chest of drawers and two of the three have closets. We provide bed pads, two pillows per guest room, blankets and quilts. The cottage does have heat for those occasional chilly nights as well.

Additional features of our cottage include parking for up to two cars, a large lawn, swings, a deck, a charcoal grill, a television with cable connection and video deck for those rainy days, a bookshelf stereo/cd player, wireless internet access and a telephone for local & incoming calls. If you need the phone number in order for family or friends to contact you, please let us know and we will provide it.

State & Local Occupancy Tax (9.7%) is not included in the above rates.

*The cottage rents by the week only from Mid-June through Mid-September.

Reservations:  A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, the balance is due 14 days before arrival.  At this time we are accepting checks only for cottage rentals.

Cancellations:  June - September: If we cannot rebook the week you are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.   For cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival your deposit less a $100 per week cancellation fee will be refunded if the week is rebooked.  Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund even if the week is rebooked.  October - May* cancellations must be received five days in advance and a 10% cancellation fee applies.  There will be no refund for cancellations received fewer than five days from arrival.

Oyster Festival Cancellation Policy: The deposit will not be refundable under any circumstances.  The balance of the reservation will be due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable at that point.

Accessibility:  The cottage is a 2-story structure.  The bathroom, living room, dining room and kitchen are located on the ground floor, all bedrooms are on the second floor.

Parking: Up to two (2) vehicles can be parked next to the cottage.  If you will have visitors or need parking for additional cars please contact the innkeeper IN ADVANCE to discuss arrangements.

Maximum Overnight Occupancy: Six (6) persons.

Check-in Time for the Cottage is after 3 p.m., Check-out is 11 a.m.
